Bruce Willis is ''bored'' of being cast in action films.
The 'Red 2' actor - who is known for playing tough guys - admits he no longer enjoys shooting explosive scenes for adventure movies because he doesn't find them ''exciting anymore'', but loves the amount of money he can earn from that genre.
Speaking to Spanish magazine XLS, he said: ''Explosions are one of the most boring parts of my job.
''When you have seen a few fireballs, it's not exciting anymore. I know part of my audience enjoys the explosions, but to be honest, I'm a bit bored of it now.
''I am very clear with who I am. I work in all sorts of films, but the action movies are the ones that generate the most revenue. I like to earn lots of money from those, but I do all types: small productions, mega-projects, medium sized, even science fiction.''
However, Willis insists he is not someone ''who spends the whole day counting his bank notes.''
The 58-year-old actor previously admitted he becomes ''unbearable'' to work with when he is away from his wife Emma Heming and their 15-month-old daughter, Mabel Ray, so they usually join him when he is on location.
He previously told BANG Showbiz: ''I'm fortunate that I get to bring my family with me when I travel. It would be impossibly unbearable for anyone I'm working with if I didn't have my family with me. I'd just be moaning about that. I have a little baby and I like to hang out with her every day.''
