The rocker signed a note for a young fan at his show, who was going to be late for school the next day.
Bruce Springsteen has helped out a nine-year-old fan, who was going to be late for school the day after attending his Los Angeles concert. The 66-year-old singer is known for his epically long shows and last Tuesday he play a three-and-a-half hour set at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.

Springsteen superfan Scott Glovsky had brought his nine-year-old son Xabi to the show, who was holding a sign which read, "Bruce, I will be late to school tomorrow. Please sign my note :).” Springsteen spotted the pair in the crowd and invited then backstage after the gig, where Xabi got his note signed.

Speaking to Springsteen's fan magazine, Backstreets, Scott described their magical meeting with Springsteen. "Although there were many musicians and celebrities at the concert, we were the first people to see Bruce after the show.” Scott said.
"He said, 'There's the big guy!' to my son. It was just the three of us. He then said, 'I understand that you need a note, I think I can help you out.' As Xabi sat next to him on the couch, Bruce thoughtfully and artistically created this beautiful note.”

"It was very interesting to watch the artist at work. They talked for a few minutes, and Bruce was incredibly nice, caring and gracious.” Scott added that he’d been a Springsteen fan for more than thirty years and said "it was a very special night for me," and more importantly, "Bruce made a little boy's wishes come true."
