The woman arrested outside Britney Spears' Los Angeles home has dismissed the incident as a "joke" - insisting she was filming a documentary about the paparazzi.
Miranda Tozier-Robbins was detained by police after she was caught peeping into the star's empty home in Calabasas, California on Thursday morning (16Apr09).
The 26-year-old - who was booked on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct - was reportedly wearing combat fatigues and carrying a hand-held video camera.
And in an interview with Access Hollywood, Tozier-Robbins insists she was actually filming the singer's residence as part of short movie about photographers and the media.
She says, "The whole thing - it was all a joke in the beginning, everybody knew about it. It was supposed to be like a Paparazzi 101 documentary type deal. I already knew Britney herself wouldnt be there, but its like, I came that far, I might as well go see the house, at least get the house on tape, because I know people would be interested in seeing stuff like that.
"Its a once in a lifetime opportunity, you understand? It wasnt really stalking her, it was more plotting out how to get to her house.
Tozier-Robbins is scheduled to appear in court on 16 June (09).
