Britney Spears didn't take long to find love again after her split from Jason Trawick less than a year ago.

The 31 year-old broke off her engagement with Trawick this past January (2013).

The new man in her life is David Lucado, he and Britney went public with their relationship in March, after been spotted together in LA, and 8 months later they both seems happier than ever.

"I'm in love," Spears, told Entertainment Tonight about her beau, Lucado. "I like the fact that [Lucado is] very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways."

"He's just a simple man. I adore him," she gushed. "He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about and it's contagious."

Lucado, who met Britney through a mutual friend while working at law firm, has already got the thumbs up from Britney's father, Jamie Spears, she revealed that the over protective Mr Spears ran a background check on her new man, "My dad's a little crazy like that," she admitted.

The 'Work Bitch' singer also told ET that she is unsure if marriage is something that will happen again for her, but she is open to have more children in the future. Spears already has two sons, Sean, 8, and Jayden, 7, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, they were married from 2004 until 2007.

Britney then discussed her upcoming 8th studio album 'Britney Jean', where she explained making this album "was kind of like therapy for [her]."

Spears continued, "It just kind of transformed me. As you write something your perspective changes. So, it was like my 'good therapy record.' I'm an artist so I think there are periods in everyone's life where you get kind of reclusive, your creative outlet is cut off. Then sometimes it flows and you're like, 'Oh my God, this is what I need to be doing' [which makes] it easier for you to be the artist that you want to be."

'Britney Jean' is set for release on December 3rd 2013.
