Britney Spears' ex-husband likes her new boyfriend.

The 'Work B***h' hitmaker, who began dating David Lucado in March after calling off her engagement to Jason Trawick in January, introduced the legal researcher to Kevin Federline at their sons, Sean, eight, and seven-year-old Jayden's soccer game in Los Angeles on Saturday (09.11.13), and he approves of the singer's beau.

The 35-year-old former back-up dancer told gossip website TMZ.com: ''We were chillin. We gotta support the kids in what they want to do. That was my first time meeting [David]. He's a cool guy.''

The former couple wed in a low-key ceremony in September 2004 and reached a divorce settlement in March 2007 but are still on good terms.

Asked whether there was any awkwardness, Kevin, who has a two-year-old daughter, Jordan, with his wife Victoria Prince, said: ''Nah, man. You know, everybody's moved on.''

But he said it is ''not likely'' they would go on a double date, adding: ''It would definitely be interesting.''

A source previously revealed that the 31-year-old star's relationship with David is completely different from any of her previous ones.

The insider said: ''With David it's just all fun, just because they like each other. It must be a breath of fresh air for Brit.''
