Britney Spears has been having dreams about Ryan Gosling.

The 31-year-old singer admits she recently had a night vision about the 'Gangster Squad' star but it wasn't a racy dream, although she wishes it had been.

Giggling as she described her dream, Britney said: ''I had a dream about him last night!! It wasn't like that ... we were just talking, like having a conversation ... I wish it was like that!''

Ryan isn't the only famous hunk Britney has had on her mind.

The 'I'm A Slave 4 U' songstress is a big fan of James Franco and thinks he would be perfect to play sadomasochist Christian Grey in the '50 Shades of Grey' movie.

During an interview on UK radio station KISS FM Britney was asked who she thought Charlie Hunnam's replacement in the film should be, to which she replied: ''Errrm, I love James Franco. He's really cool.''

In her new video for 'Work Bitch', Britney is seen wielding a whip as scantily-clad dancers writhe around her.
