Actor Bradley Cooper has set the record straight about the upcoming A-TEAM movie - insisting he has not been signed up to play FACEMAN in the new film.
Cooper was recently linked to the big screen role of Lieutenant Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, made famous by Dirk Benedict in the hit 1980s TV series.
But the star insists comments he made about the project were taken out of context - as he hasn't even read a script for the A-Team picture.
He tells Chud.com, "A guy came up to me and asked about the character Faceman in The A-Team. I said 'Oh, that's out there already?', but my point was that news about the film is out there. Literally that people knew about the remake, that's it. I haven't read a script or met (director) Joe Carnahan."
The film, scheduled for release in 2010, is rumoured to boast an all-star cast including Bruce Willis, Woody Harrelson and rapper Common.
