You don’t touch Brad Pitt without permission and get away with it – that much became clear, when Pitt filed for a restraining order against the red carpet harasser, cough, prankster, who reportedly lunged at the actor at the Maleficient premiere in Hollywood on Wednesday and struck him in the face.

Ukranian TV personality Vitalij Sediuk is known for pulling these kinds of stunts on the regular. His resume so far includes jumping onstage during Adele’s Oscars speech last year, trying to kiss Will Smith at the premiere of Men in Black 3 in 2012, lunging at Bradley Cooper’s privates at this year’s SAG awards and, most recently, making highly unwelcome stage dive under America Ferrera’s dress at the Cannes Film Festival.

Sediuk hasn’t really gotten away with it in the past. His previous antics have led to his firing, and the most recent altercation has led to his publicist cutting ties with him, the Associated Press reported.

Pitt is adding to the fire, though. He has also requested an emergency restraining order, forbidding Sediuk to come within 500ft of the star for the next five days. TMZ said, adding that the case has been forwarded to the L.A. city attorney for possible prosecution. And, as a final touch of cosmic retribution, the inappropriate antics may be considered a violation of the Ukranian TV personality’s probation. his lawyer Anthony Willoughby told AP. Willougby represented Sediuk in the Grammy trespassing case and is likely to represent him again.

"He's not a violent individual," Willoughby said. "He's an easygoing young man."

As defenses go, that line is unlikely to save Sediuk from further prosecution.
