The Hollywood supercouple relocated to New Orleans shortly after the horror of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and Pitt established the Make it Right foundation to build 150 environmentally-friendly houses in the area for those left homeless by the natural disaster.

The actors purchased a $3.5 million (£2.19 million) property in the French Quarter for themselves to call home while in the city, but now it appears they are moving on after listing the five bedroom, three bathroom pad for $6.5 million (£4 million), according to TMZ.com.

Representatives for the couple, which now has a home base in France, have declined to comment on whether the stars are planning to purchase a new pad in New Orleans.
