Blac Chyna is said to be still in a legal battle with her future in-laws over plans to trademark the name Angela Renee Kardashian.

On Friday TMZ reported that Chyna had been told by Kris Jenner that the filling was a simple mix-up and that the attorneys had been called off. However speaking to the New York Daily News, Chyna's attorney, Walter Mosley, said this simply wasn’t the case.

“This is not resolved, as far as I’m concerned. The report of a truce does not make it true,” Mosley said, adding that he had not been contacted by the Kardashian’s lawyers.

“Ultimately, until Kim, Khloé and Kourtney respond to me and tell me they’re dropping the challenge, I don’t know that this matter is over,” he continued.

“I hope this was a mistake by an overzealous associate racking up billable hours. They probably file these things once a week.

“It will be unfortunate if that wasn’t the case because Chyna has never been happier. Rob too,” Mosley added.

Speaking to E! News, a Kardashian family source explained that "their trademark attorneys automatically oppose anyone trying to trademark 'Kardashian'" adding "everyone loves each other," but they also don't plan to stand down when it comes to business.

TMZ first reported on the lawsuit earlier this week, saying they had seen legal documents which stated that if Chyna gets the trademark the Kardashians will "suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.”

The lawsuit also added that Chyna was "deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity" of the Kardashian name.
