Actor Bill Murray helped to make a fan's dream come true by visiting with him while shooting his new film St. Vincent.
The Ghostbusters star was filming the movie in Brooklyn, New York last year (13) when fan Thomas Cerone, who is an aspiring actor with Down syndrome, heard the actor would be in his neighbourhood.
Cerone and his family headed to the set to see if they could catch a glimpse of the 64 year old, and they were ecstatic when Murray took time out of his schedule to visit with Cerone, who has appeared on Tv show Law & Order: Svu.
Cerone's brother Anthony tells the New York Daily News, "Thomas wanted to see Bill in action, if he could get close enough.
"Needless to say, not only did he get to meet Mr. Murray - Bill took time out to spend with him."
During the visit, Murray let Cerone sit in the director's chair and pose for a picture alongside the car that the actor drove in the film. He also offered Cerone advice about acting.
Cerone's mother Sue adds,"(Murray) was really great. We stayed for two hours, then he had to get back to the film..."
She continues, "Tom is loving it. He had a moment he'll never forget."
