Bill Murray found making 'Hyde Park on Hudson' ''civilised''.
The 62-year-old actor takes on the role of US President Roosevelt in the new feature, which follows the iconic figure through history being visited by Britain's King George VI (Samuel West), and Bill was pleasantly surprised at how ''normal'' the work schedule was during production.
He said: ''I truly never worked on such a civilised movie. We got up at a normal hour; we worked until a normal hour. No starting at 3.45am. No panic.
''Every so often, one of the producers would come up and say, 'Bill, I just want you to know how much I loved what you did yesterday.' ''
Bill admitted he was close to giving up acting after his 2005 film 'Broken Flowers' and considered changing careers to be a professional hat maker.
He added to Radio Times magazine: ''I was going to stop. I just loved everything about that movie, and afterwards I thought: 'Honestly, I don't think I can ever do anything better.' So I wanted a new career.
''I could have made hats. I'm not entirely joking. I was definitely open to something else. But nothing came up.''
