If Bill Murray offers any advice, then you better listen!

The 63 year-old actor made a groom-to-be very happy over Memorial Day weekend by crashing his bachelor party.

But how did this random event occur?

Murray stopped by a Charleston, S.C., steak house to grab a bit to eat, and when some eager fans spotted him, they attempted to ask if he could offer any advice to their friend, E.J. Rumpke, who is about to get married.

The entire events that followed were recalled to Deadspin by one of the partygoers, who also posted a video of Murray's speech online.

But at first, the group of friends, all from Boston College, didn't think the 'Ghostbusters' actor was interested.

"We talked to the waiter to see if we could send him some drinks, to which Bill declined," the attendee said. "One of my buddies then went down and asked if he'd come up and say a few words for EJ and got a "No thanks." My buddy comes back up dejected and tells us it's not going to happen."

However, in a very pleasant surprise Murray appeared only two minutes later and gave out some much appreciated life advice.

"You know how funerals are not for the dead, they're for the living?" Murray began. "Bachelor parties are not for the groom, they're for the unmarried."

"Listen here, I'm going to give you all advice because it's too late for this guy," Murray continued. "This is what I recommend to you. If you have someone who you think is the one.Take that person and travel around the world. Buy two plane tickets and travel all around the world. Go to places that are hard to go to and hard to get out of."

"And when you come back to JFK (Kennedy Airport), you're still in love with that person, get married at the airport," he concluded.
