Jay-Z and Beyonce, on the same bill? Yep, it looks as though the world's richest and most famous couple are heading out on a joint US tour that will start in late June. Sources tell Page Six that the husband-wife team are close to confirming a 20+ date tour which will include a show in New York on July 4.
Beyonce and Jay-Z Could Team Up For A Joint Tour
Both Jay-Z and Beyonce both wrapped extensive tour in support of their respective records. Jay closed out 52 dates for his Magna Carta Holy Grail jaunt, while Bey wrapped her Mrs Carter tour in March.
The pair performed their hit single Drunk in Love at this year's Grammy Awards, as well as at a DirecTV Super Bowl party and during Beyonce's O2 Arena gig in London on February 28.
On Sunday, the hip-hop husband and wife performed separately at the Coachella music festival - Bey getting up to dance with her sister Solange Knowles and Jay ending his feud with Nas for a rendition Dead Presidents II.
By Sunday, Beyonce and Jay Z were safely back in Los Angeles where they enjoyed a nice little brunch for two at the Gjelina restaurant.
In 2011, Jay-Z and Kanye West broke the record for the world's biggest grossing hip-hop tour when they grossed $75 million from 57 shows of their Watch the Throne tour. That tour began with 29 shows in the United States and 5 in Canada and it's likely that Jay-Z and Beyonce would announce further dates should the initial run sell out quickly.
