The birth of Beyonce and Jay Z's first child has been causing a stir since the news broke. For one Boston-based events company, though, Baby Carter's birth has ushered in some unexpected attention. Blue Ivy Events, who specialise in wedding planning, has received a deluge of phone calls, Facebook messages and text messages ever since BEYONCÉ and JAY-Z announced that their baby girl would be named Blue Ivy Carter. A few days ago, the event planner's website would have been one of the first websites listed if you Googled 'Blue Ivy.' Now that Miss Carter's birth is a global concern, that has become an unlikely outcome.
According to TMZ.com, the company's owner, Veronica Alexander has offered up her services when it comes to planning all of Blue Ivy's birthday celebrations, even joking that Blue Ivy should be "the face of the company." Given the high security levels that Blue's parents employed at her birth, Veronica would probably have problems getting in contact to arrange that particular marketing plan.
Extra security measures were put in place at Lenox Hill hospital, where the 'Crazy In Love' singer gave birth by caesarean section, to prevent any photographs of the couple and their new born child being leaked to the press. As yet, no official photos of the couple have been released. Celebrity friends were quick to congratulate the couple on Twitter, with actress Gwyneth Paltrow tweeting "Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already." Meanwhile, Rihanna shared this message: "Welcome to the world, Princess Carter! LoveAunty Rih."
