Beyoncé seems to have changed her mind about her short pixie cut and is now, with the help of extensions, sporting a blonde bob. The singer appeared on Wednesday (15th August), heading for lunch in Miami with her husband Jay-Z and daughter, Blue Ivy, miraculously with a chin-length bob.

Beyoncé revealed her new pixie look on August 8th, shocking fans by posting three photographs on Instagram. Beyoncé, prior to last week's cut, always had long hair. It's no wonder she's chosen to ease into things by wearing a longer bob. Her long term colourist Rita Hazan, speaking to E!, commented on Beyoncé's drastic change. Hazan said: "she always had beautiful, gorgeous tons of hair and for her to strip down and reveal herself this way is a very powerful moment."

Beyoncé seems to be maintaining the bob - for now. She appeared at V Festival on Saturday (17th August) and performed sporting her new hair-do. Despite the rain and making the festival crowd wait for twenty minutes, Beyonce's performance has been highly praised. She performed a few slower numbers which were less popular but 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)', 'Halo' and 'Run the World' were all hits with the audience.

Her stage outfits were also popular and all very short! Beyonce first appeared wearing a midnight blue sparkling playsuit whilst singing her opening number, 'Run the World'. Later, the costumes she wore included a white leotard complete with military style shoulder pads; a black leotard with gold embellishment and a small skirt; and a green leopard print playsuit.
