The British actor recently admitted he tries "to normalize things as much as you can," in order to cope with the pressures of being famous.
Benedict Cumberbatch, who has a legion of fans across the globe called "Cumberbitches," is quickly establishing himself as one of the most talented actors in Hollywood, and he is already considered a strong Oscar contender for his role as Alan Turing in 'The Imitation Game.'
Cumberbatch escapes the fame lifestyle by sketching
Unfortunately for the British star, the interest in him is currently at an all-time high. But to relax and escape the "nonsense" of fame, Cumberbatch, who recently became engaged to theatre director and actress Sophie Hunter, tries to surround himself with good friends, spend time outdoors and by sketching.

During an interview on the BBC's The Andrew Marr Show, Cumberbatch was asked about being famous and his thoughts on fans sleeping outside the hotels where he stays. "You try to normalize things as much as you can," he said, adding that the "amount of speculation and the crossover between anyone whose public life and their professional and their private life is hard."
"I try to normalize it - friends and family, things that I've known longer than any of this nonsense, and nature, moving on from being observed in that manner," he continued.

But what really humbles Cumberbatch is putting pen to do "a little bit of drawing. I do a little bit of pen and ink, but canvas work has been a little while off. I need the space and a bit more time. . But yeah, I love sketching still. I really love that," he said.
