The Imitation Game star and his partner Sophie Hunter welcomed a son on Saturday (13Jun15), just a day after the actor landed a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) honour from Queen Elizabeth II.

A spokesman for the couple confirms, "(They are) delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son."

No further details about the new arrival have been given.

Cumberbatch and Hunter married in February (15).
