Ben Stiller is using his comedy skills for a serious cause - he's selling colourful headbands to raise money for schools in Haiti.
The funnyman is offering the silly accessories as part of his newly-launched Stillerstrong campaign, which pokes fun at cycling star Lance Armstrong's Livestrong wristband fundraiser.
The Meet the Parents star has kicked off his goodwill endeavour by filming a homemade video and begging the Tour de France champion to wear one of the headbands to support the charity.
He says in the clip, "This is a message for my buddy Lance Armstrong! I've always been inspired by you and what you do with the Livestrong organisation is incredible. It's awe-inspiring, as you are! And you've inspired me to do something to help other people. So in this holiday season, I was thinking about what I could do and I recently went down to Haiti for the first time and I visited a school called the Ceverine Community School. They need to build additional classrooms and get access to clean drinking water.
"I've come up with an idea to raise money that I think is going to blow people away - it's pretty original. It's called the Stillerstrong headband. Basically I'm gonna sell these headbands for 500 bucks a pop. All the money goes to the school. I was thinking I would get celebrities to wear them, like you - maybe you could wear one during your next bike race? You could just put it on your quad so when you're going up a mountain we'll see it just expanding!"
