He admits it may change over the course of production.
Ben Affleck has finally confirmed the title of his upcoming solo Batman venture as simply 'The Batman'. At least, that's the current working title. The screenplay is still underway and production is in its very early stages, but the actor has promised to keep the world informed of any new developments.
Ben Affleck confirms 'The Batman' title
Affleck is the producer, writer, director and star of the forthcoming Batman movie; the latest instalment in the DC film universe and a sequel to Affleck's Batman debut 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. The film is expected to be called 'The Batman', though given that it isn't expected to arrive in cinemas until... well, we don't actually know, it's not set in stone.

'That's what we're going with now, I might change it', Affleck told Associated Press yesterday (October 3rd 2016). 'The script is going well, I'm really excited about it. I assure you that when anything develops, you'll hear about it.'
The actor also confirmed recently that Deathstroke will be the main villain of the piece, and Joe Manganiello is expected to play the character. 'He's a great villain. I just had an instinctive feeling that he would match up with him well', Affleck told Collider. 'I'm a big admirer of that character as well, especially in the New 52 the way that they did Deathstroke, and I thought that it could work.'
