Claudette King took to social media to thank fans for their outpouring of support following her dad's death last week (ends15May15).

She wrote, "HELLO ALL. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. My dad's service is next Saturday, May 23rd in Las Vegas. Lying in state Friday, May 22, 2015."

The viewing on Friday will be open to the late guitar great's fans.

King died peacefully in his sleep after suffering a series of small strokes, according to the Las Vegas Coroner and the bluesman's own physician.

Information about the singer's funeral and burial service haven't been released yet, but the executive director of the B.B. King Museum, Dion Brown, insists they will be held at the end of the month (May15) in Indianola, Mississippi, near Berclair, where the late star was born.
