Avril Lavigne thinks it is ''nice'' her family and friends heard her duet with Chad Kroeger at their wedding, but she hopes to release the track for her fans in the future.
Avril Lavigne hopes to release the duet with Chad Kroeger which was played at their wedding.
The couple danced to 'If I Said I Loved You' at their nuptials in July and though the 'What the Hell' hitmaker thinks it was ''nice'' to share their ''love song'' with family and friends first, she wants her fans to hear it too.
Avril - who recorded another duet with Chad, 'Let Me Go', for her latest self-titled album - said of the song: ''Chad and I wrote that and recorded it together later on in our relationship.
''['Let Me Go'] was the first song we wrote together and we weren't even together at that stage, so our love song was our first song at the wedding and one day I'd like to release it, but our family all got to hear it so it was kind of nice.''
The 29-year-old singer also admitted her working relationship with the Nickleback rocker has changed since they married.
She told 'Access Hollywood': ''When we first got together and we were recording, because he's a singer, I actually really liked that as him being my producer. So when he was recording my vocals, we spoke the same language, so he pushed me to do different takes, give different attitudes or whatever and just try more.''
''Now, I'm like, 'No. Just two more takes, babe. Two more takes and I'm done.' It's more comfortable now, but it's nice because we get to work together and spend more time together.''
And though they are blissfully happy together, Avril insists she and her 38-year-old spouse are not ready to have children yet.
She said: ''I have a tour coming up and my record just came out so I'm just working hard with my music and he is as well and I'd love to make a Christmas record for next year and my tour starts in February, so I've got a lot that I still need to do.''
