The boy, who has had his identity witheld because he is a minor, was also charged with a misdemeanor count of making a false emergency report about gun shots being fired at Justin Bieber's home and faces felony charges of making a false bomb threat and computer intrusion after allegedly saying there was a bomb at a Wells Fargo bank branch in Los Angeles.

For his Kutcher prank, which is called 'swatting' because it usually results in SWAT police being sent to the scene, the 12-year-old was charged with making a false bomb threat and computer intrusion, because he placed the call from a computer rather than a phone-line. According to the Los Angeles District Attorney, the boy - who turns 13 in April - is likely to have the Wells Fargo bank and Bieber incidents dismissed when he has been sentenced for the Kutcher 'swatting' fiasco.

All of the prank calls were made during October, with police eventually tracing the hoax calls back to the young boy after police had been dispatched to the false crime scenes. The boy could face punishment in the shape of an at-home probation or placement into a group home for other young offenders for a certain amount of time. The boy is currently in the custody of his parents, with his whereabouts also kept private.
