Aretha Franklin Is Keeping The Family Business Alive By Assisting Her Offspring With Their Music Careers.
The Respect hitmaker, 73, is hoping to help out the younger generation by setting them up with the right contacts in the business to become just as triumphant as she is.
In an interview with U.S. morning chat show The Talk, Franklin discussed her current projects, saying, "My granddaughter Victory is an aspiring singer and I'm coaching her. She sung for me at the BET Honors (prizegiving).
"My son Kecalf (Cunningham) is a Christian hip-hop artist and I'm looking for a deal for him. And I'm looking for a deal for my grandson Jordan. He wrote some things for Ariana (Grande), who met and hosted him at her concert in Detroit."
