The 'Pretty Hurts' singer, who surprised her fans by unveiling her new self-titled ''visual album'' exclusively on iTunes in the early hours of Friday morning (13.12.13), ran into the Oscar-winning actress at vegan restaurant Café Gratitude in Los Angeles last week, and gushed about her love of the 'Les Miserables' star, who was left a little star-struck.
An eyewitness told UsMagazine.com: ''She said to Beyonce, 'I love your music.' And Beyonce told Anne, 'And I love your movies and I cry every time I watch them!' ''
The duo bumped into each other at the organic eatery after Beyonce, 32, brought her husband Jay Z there to celebrate his 44th birthday on December 4.
The rapper recently revealed the couple - who have a 23-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy, together - are sticking to a plant-based diet until Christmas Day.
The 'Holy Grail' hitmaker wrote on his Life and Times Blog: ''It just feels right! So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress.
