Samberg and Newsom tied the knot in front of family and friends
The former-Saturday Night Live writer and performer and the acclaimed harpist and singer/songwriter have dated for around five years now and on Saturday they finally made things officially after their engagement was confirmed by Samberg in February this year. With family and friends invited, there were a few famous faces amongst the attendees at the ceremony, with Adam Sandler, Amy Poehler, Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph and her partner Paul Thomas Anderson all reportedly in attendance.
As reported by E! News, Joanna walked down the aisle in a custom-made Zac Posen dress, with the designer later talking to E! about how wonderful the bride looked on her special day. Posen said, "It was magical. It was a full couture piece. It was custom and collaborative in design."
The couple have dated for five years
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show earlier this week, Andy joked that although he was excited about the the big day, he was also extremely nervous. He said, "So far, it's been nothing but stress and joy. The joy is the lady herself. The stress is the planning. We tried to go small and it was just impossible. There's too many relatives, too many friends."
Hopefully the ceremony itself was nothing but joy for the pair, and we'd like to wish Any and Joanna nothing but happiness in their marriage. Congratulations guys!
