The Amazing Spider-man 2 has a lavish world premiere in London, while Draft Day hits New York and The Railway Man premieres in L.A. Jennifer Aniston and Saoirse Ronan are photographed shooting their new films. And trailers promise comedy and thrills in Shaun the Sheep, Earth to Echo and Home...
Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan and director Marc Webb were all in London to walk the red carpet at the world premiere of The Amazing Spider-man 2 on Thursday. The film opens next week in Britain, and in America in May. Browse through our photos from the World Premiere of The Amazing Spiderman 2 held at the Odeon Leicester Square.
Over in Los Angeles, Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner, Chadwick Boseman, Ellen Burstyn and Frank Langella turned up for the premiere of the American football drama Draft Day. And in New York, it was Colin Firth and Jeremy Irvine who appeared at the premiere of their new movie The Railway Man. Both films open this weekend across America. Look through our photos from the premiere of Summit Entertainment's 'Draft Day' at the Regency Village Theatre, Los Angeles.
Also in Los Angeles, Jennifer Aniston was photographed on the set of her new drama Cake, in which she plays a woman with severe scars on her face and neck. Sam Worthington was on set with her. The film also stars Anna Kendrick, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman. We have photos of Jennifer Aniston spotted on the set of her new film 'Cake' with severe scars on her face and neck.
Meanwhile in Ireland, Saoirse Ronan and Domhnall Gleeson were snapped on Curracloe Beach in period swimwear while shooting their new film Brooklyn, about a young Irish immigrant moving to New York in the 1950s. It looks rather chilly in the photos, but the cast and crew will probably make it seem like a balmy summer day on-screen. Check out pics of actress Saoirse Ronan filming scenes for movie 'Brooklyn' with actor Domhnall Gleeson on Curracloe Beach.
The first trailers for three kids' movies emerged this week. Audiences will have to wait until March 2015 for the Shaun the Sheep Movie to arrive in cinemas, but the new teaser trailer promises a witty spin-off adventure for the woolly hero from the Wallace & Gromit movies. Watch 'Shaun The Sheep' Trailer.
Shot with hand-held cameras, Earth to Echo looks like a younger version of Chronicle, as a group of teen pals investigate a series of mysterious text messages that lead them to something otherworldly. With an unknown cast, the trailer promises what looks like a pretty big adventure. It opens in July. Watch 'Earth to Echo' Trailer.
And finally, the teaser trailer for the animated alien comedy Home is actually a four-minute short film titled Almost Home, featuring an intrepid group of multi-legged aliens looking for a new home planet, with a blustering leader voiced by Steve Martin. Also in the voice cast are Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Jim Parsons. The short is hilarious, and the film opens in December. Watch 'Home' Teaser Trailer.
