Amanda Bynes says she is going bald.

The 'Easy A' star, who is regularly spotted wearing multi-coloured wigs, claims she feels like a ''cancer patient'' because she is losing her hair.

The 27-year-old troubled starlet wrote on Twitter on Friday (13.07.13): ''Not having hair makes me feel like a cancer patient.''

It was first revealed that the actress was wearing a wig following her arrest in May, after which she was instructed by police officers to remove her hairpiece for her mugshot.

Amanda, who has been charged with attempted evidence tampering, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession after being arrested at her apartment in New York City, also wore an aqua-coloured wig to court on Tuesday (09.07.13).

Despite being photographed in various wigs in recent months, she claimed on Twitter on Thursday (11.07.13) that she has never worn one, writing: ''When my hair grows out will everyone stop putting up fake videos of random girls in wigs posing as me?''

The actress, who has sparked serious concern for her welfare in recent months, is due back in court in September.
