Singer Alicia Keys is set to leave her executive position at Blackberry later this month (Jan14) after just one year.
The Empire State of Mind hitmaker was named the first ever Global Creative Director for BlackBerry in January (13), but she will step down on 30 January (14).
A statement from a company spokesperson to CTV News, reads, "We have enjoyed the opportunity to work with such an incredibly talented and passionate individual."
While working at Blackberry, Keys helped to establish the BlackBerry Scholars Program in a bid to inspire women to explore career opportunities in technology and mobile computing.
