Alexa Chung has revealed that she loves her UGG boots, even though she knows most people don't think they are very fashionable.
Alexa Chung's favourite item of clothing is a pair of UGG boots.
Although she is a style icon, Alexa, 31, admitted she loves to dress down on her off days and prefers to ''slouch around'' in the comfortable footwear.
Speaking on Nick Grimshaw's Breakfast show on BBC Radio 1, she said: ''My UGG boots are my favourite item of clothing. I wear them all the time, they're very comfortable. I know people are over them but I love them.''
However, Alexa would draw the line at wearing wellington boots in the city.
She said: ''I hate to see people walking around the city in wellies, it's ridiculous. If you can get through Glastonbury in tennis shoes, you can get through SoHo without wellies.''
Alexa has been busy attending the shows at London Fashion Week and while she says it is exhausting, she also loves the chance to catch up with her fashionable friends.
She explained: ''During Fashion Week it's a chance to hobnob with mates on the front row and get some nice clothes to wear.
''I sat next to Cressida Bonas during the week and she was so nice, so friendly, so normal. She was saying how scary it was that there were so many people around but I was thinking, 'You've dated Prince Harry, you've definitely been at Buckingham Palace, so you'll be fine.'''
However, it's not always fun as Alexa explained: ''I sat next to wil.i.am before and he didn't talk. I think he had sunglasses on and couldn't see to the left or right. I've met him before and he's been pleasant but at this one show he didn't want to talk.''
