Alesha Dixon has launched the first ever make-up kit for selfies through HTC and Smashbox Cosmetics to get the perfect shot.
Alesha Dixon has teamed up with HTC and Smashbox Cosmetics to launch the first make-up kit for selfies.
The brunette beauty has admitted she is a ''big fan of selfies'' and considers the kit, which includes Photo Finish Foundation Primer, Full Exposure Mascara and an LA Lights highlighter as the ''saviour of my makeup bag'' because it has everything needed to look her ''best'' and now she is ''always ready for my close-up''.
She said: ''I'm a big fan of selfies, but often it takes me ages to get the perfect shot - not ideal with my hectic schedule! The Smashbox x HTC Selfie Kit is the new saviour of my makeup bag as it has all the tools to help me look my best. When I combine this with my HTC Desire 620 which acts as my pocket photo-editing suite, I'm always ready for my close-up.''
The former Mis Teeq rapper's kit also comes with a step-by-step guide for the best selfie.
Davis Factor, Founder/SVP of Global Creative for Smashbox Cosmetics also gives his step-by-step guide for the perfect selfie using the products in the kit.
He shared: ''Lighting, as usual, is everything: Find the most natural light to add brightness and avoid shadows on your face.
''Turn away from the camera at an angle - whenever you face the camera straight on, you'll be shown at your widest.
''Want to find the ideal position for your phone while shooting? Hold your arm straight out, then lift up slightly to just above eye level.''
The HTC X Smashbox Limited Selfie Kit costs £48 and is out now.
