Alec Baldwin's pregnant wife is concerned for the safety of the couple's unborn child after a series of run-ins with aggressive paparazzi on the streets of New York.

Yoga teacher and Tv personality Hilaria Baldwin took to Twitter.com on Wednesday (20Feb13) to share a recent verbal encounter with a snapper just days after her husband was accused of hurling racial abuse at a New York Post photographer during an altercation outside the couple's home on Sunday (17Feb13).

She wrote: "'Me: are you enjoying taking my pic?' 'Paparazzi: actually I am' 'Me: well I'm pregnant & it upsets me - please don't' 'Paparazzi continues shooting'."

She later added, "What's going to happen to our child? How will we protect our baby?"
