Al Pacino thinks it is ''possible'' he could get married.

The 74-year-old actor - who has daughter Julie, 25, and twins Anton and Olivia, 14, from previous relationships - doesn't expect to tie the knot so late in life, but admits he hasn't ruled it out completely.

He said ''Of course it's possible [I'll get married]. It seems beside the point though. I mean, yeah. I have no idea, but I never say never.

''I don't think of marriage that way, but it's very possible that this could happen.''

The 'Godfather' actor loves being around his children and says they give him a different focus.

He said: ''I have a daughter who is a filmmaker now and my little ones are tremendous.

''Every day, you come home and the kids are in my arms. Sometimes they're not well, they're sick and you're taking temperatures... y'know, when I come home from any outing whether it's a movie or some festival stuff, you come home and open the door and walk in and it's not about you any more. And there's a real relief about that.''

The screen legend's son has begun asking to see some of his work, but he doesn't think he is old enough just yet.

He told Total Film magazine: ''My son is asking me, 'What's this 'Scarface'?' All his friends know it. And I say, 'I think it's not quite time yet to see Daddy in this. But it's a film you'll like'. I mean, look at those video games they play - wow.''
