The 'Crazy' rockers have been announced as the final headliners for next year's event - which takes place in Donnington Park, Leicestershire, East Midlands on 13-15 June - in what will be their first UK show since 2010.
Guitarist Joe Perry said: ''It's been too long since we've been to England and we're sincerely f**king charged to be coming back! See you there.''
Also announced as performing on the Sunday as second headliners are Alter Bridge.
Yesterday (05.11.13), it was announced the Saturday will see Linkin Park close the day's performances with a set comprising their breakthrough album 'Hybrid Theory' in its entirety, with Fall Out Boy their main support.
The first day will see Rob Zombie take to the stage ahead of headliners Avenged Sevenfold.
Tickets for Download Festival 2014 are currently on sale, with earlybird tickets - at £10 off regular prices - available until Friday (08.11.13).
After this date, prices will increase to £160 for a standard weekend ticket, or £185 for three nights camping and £195 for a five-day camping ticket.
Last year, Slipknot, Iron Maiden and Rammstein headlined the festival.
