Chris Martin And Nine More Of Our Favourite Celebrity Impressionists

  • 04 February 2016

It's always awesome to discover the untapped hidden talents of celebrities; talents not necessarily used to a great extent in their everyday work. Some stars - whether they're singers or actors - possess the extremely impressive knack of nailing impressions of their peers, even the ones you least expect.

In no particular order, we've compiled a list of our favourite impressions from celebrities not necessarily famous for that talent, i.e. they're not comedians or anything, just professional pop and movie stars.

1. Chris Martin - Our most recent favourite, the Coldplay singer wowed 'The Late Late Show' host James Corden with his impersonations of Mick Jagger and Bruce Springsteen during their Carpool Karaoke segment. He explained that the only secret to Jagger is to start off high-pitched and end the sentence on a low note. It's literally unmissable; the impressions are from 4:22 to 4:55.

2. Tom Hiddleston - This guy has done everyone including Chris Evans, Christopher Walken, Chris Hemsworth, Owen Wilson and Robert De Niro. It has to be said that he really did nail De Niro and Al Pacino when he unveiled his gift on 'The Graham Norton Show', but our favourite has got to be his interpretation of Graham Norton himself.

3. Benedict Cumberbatch - By far the 'Sherlock''s star's best impression is of the late Alan Rickman. He faced serious competition when Jimmy Fallon challenged him to a Rickman-off, but we'd say he won that fair and square with that sonorous drone of an accent. Plus, we also love his Chewbacca impression, that was so good when he did it on Graham Norton that it even shocked the unflappable Harrison Ford.
