10 Unforgettable Red Carpet Looks From Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence is well known for failing to take anything seriously; she recently out-pranked some YouTube pranksters during an interview, and consistently has problems staying upright on the red carpet. But she's very serious in the fashion stakes.
And we're not surprised about the latter because some of her outfits have been fabric death-traps. On the other hand, they are some of the most sensational looks we've ever seen on the red carpet. Here's just 10 of the best:
More: Jennifer Lawrence falls on the red carpet. Again.
It's the latest culprit to spectacularly trip her up while arriving at 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' premiere in Madrid. A custom made Ralph Lauren creation made with black lace and a ruffled skirt, it framed her svelte figure perfectly. Her fall took away none of the glamour.
Whilst in Madrid, she went for a 60s look in a red, blazer-style, sleeveless mini dress and simple silver heels. It was a Mugler number that gave her an air of casual chic with no bold make-up to take away the effect.
Lawrence looked like a Grecian princess at the 2015 Producers Guild of America Awards, where she was presenting an award to Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer. The plunging, floaty white gown she wore turned heads as the light danced on the jewel embellishments. A Prada masterpiece.
She went white again for the LA premiere of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2', this time teaming a form-fitting, custom Christan Dior creation with a slick of red lipstick and loose curls.
Probably her bravest outfit yet, she showed myriad sideboob in a Dior couture dress at the London premiere of 'Mockingjay - Part 2'. Her confidence was incredible given the danger the dress posed, but closer inspection noted that some safety adhesive was in place.
At the Berlin premiere, she emulated her 'Hunger Games' character Katniss Everdeen in a long-sleeved, plum-coloured satin gown that screamed Princess of Some Fantasy World. Unsurprisingly, given that she's the new face of the brand, it's another Dior couture piece.
2014 was another amazing year for J-Law fashion; her stunning dark blue velvet Jason Wu dress at the premiere of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' in New York was simple, but with a head-turning elegance.
Attendance at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party is a must for all Hollywood superstars, and Jennifer Lawrence always sparkles. In 2014, she wore a shattered mirror effect, semi-sheer dress by Tom Ford. Now every woman ever wants that party dress.
Similarly, the year before, she wore another metallic number to the VF party; a floor-length waterfall of quicksilver from the Calvin Klein Collection, it marked a big change from that year's voluminous Dior Oscars gown.
Remember that gorgeous cropped hair-do that Jen sported in 2013 during the promotional tour of 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'? It looked incredible when she stepped out in this sheer grey number designed by Dior Haute Couture, complete with a curve hugging body-suit underneath.
