Los Cardenales De Sinaloa Accordionist Murdered In Mexico

The musician was shot nine times on Saturday (31Oct15) after returning from a show in Sinaloa. According to Billboard.com, Bojorquez was sitting in a car with his bandmates when they were ambushed by armed assailants, who ordered the accordionist to exit the vehicle.

He was shot as he complied and his body was dumped in a ditch.

His bandmates were allowed to leave the scene and Bojorquez's body was found the next morning.

No motive has been given for the killing.
