Wolfgang Petersen Returning To Germany For Next Film
The Troy director will remake his 1976 TV movie Vier gegen die Bank, and he has cast Til Schweiger, Matthias Schweighoefer, Michael Bully Herbig and Jan Josef Liefers to appear in the project, his first German-language film since 1981's Das Boot.
The movie will centre on a group of people who lose their life savings to a shady bank director and hatch a plan to recover their funds.
The untitled film is slated to start shooting in Berlin at the end of this month (Nov15). It is set to be released next winter (16), according to Variety.com.
"Berlin in winter is a very special time," Petersen says.
