Keira Knightley has seen another milestone in her acting career by appearing on Broadway for the very first time in the stage adaptation of Emile Zola's 19th century story 'Thérèse Raquin'. Once again, she is in period dress covering familiar ground on unfamiliar soil.

2015 has brought a wealth of new experiences to Knightley. She welcomed her first child, daughter Edie, into the world in May alongside husband James Righton; plus, this is the first year she has been nominated for an Academy Award, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe all at once, following her appearance in 'The Imitation Game' - which also won her her first Screen Actors Guild Award.

Despite being particularly busy with parenthood and Broadway rehearsals, she's still managed to squeeze a film into her hectic schedule. She appeared in disaster movie 'Everest' alongside Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin and Jake Gyllenhaal earlier this year.
