Snoop Dogg's Birthday Bash Goes Up In Flames

The rapper held the event to celebrate his 44th birthday at the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California, on Friday (16Oct15).

A crowd of around 600 had to be evacuated after a decorative chandelier burst into flames just as Snoop was about to take to the stage to perform, editors at TMZ.com report.

The damage at the club was minimal, but a sprinkler system that kicked in after the Halloween-style decorations caught fire flooded the floor. The birthday party will reportedly be rescheduled.

Representatives for the rapper have yet to comment on the report.
