Another One Bites The Dust: Amanda Seyfried And Justin Long Split Up

Is it the season for relationship endings? Perhaps so, as another celebrity pairing bites the dust. This time the romance that has ended is Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long who had been together for two years. US Weekly has reported that the two will be walking the red carpet solo from now on.

A source told the publication that it "happened a few weeks ago" and added that "he [Long]'s really heartbroken".

The couple fell for each other in a very modern way after Seyfried, 29, saw a picture Long had posted on Instragram that made her laugh.

Seyfried, who will next play the part of Mary in Pan, told Vogue’s May issue: "I thought something he said was really funny. It was a picture of a snail and the caption said: ‘F-----g MOOOOOVE.’ It made me laugh out loud so I texted him."

Another source said of their split: "They had different schedules and different lives. They just grew apart."

Both have illustrious relationships past with Seyfried previously dating Dexter actor Desmond Harrington and before that Dominic Cooper, who she starred alongside in Mamma Mia!, before splitting with him in 2010 after three years together.

Long, 37, has previously dated Drew Barrymore and Kate Mara.
