Embarrassing Dad Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman's son finds him embarrassing.

Although the 47-year-old actor is a huge Hollywood star thanks to roles in movies including the 'X-Men' franchise, the 'Wolverine' spin-off and 'Les Miserables', Hugh's teenage son Oscar, 15, is not impressed.

Speaking to Absolute Radio's Pete Donaldson, Hugh explained: ''My son had a friend over; a new friend. So he came over and I was listening to them in the room and the friend was obviously a fan, and was asking lots of questions.

''My son was just quiet and he was just basically, 'Mm. Yeah. No. Maybe' and then finally he said, 'Look, can you just not ask me anymore questions? I've just got to let you know my dad is nothing like Wolverine. He's really not cool. He's not tough in any way, okay? So just forget that'.''

And Hugh agrees with his son, insisting that he is extremely clumsy.

He explained: '' It's amazing to me that I can ever look vaguely cool, because I am clumsy; I trip. Most gag-reels... at the end of every film, for people who don't know, every film do a gag-reel and they show it at the wrap party. I've seen it in every film I've done. There's me tripping over, falling over, running into doors, knocking people over, punching myself with claws...''
