Donny Osmond To Undergo Vocal Cord Surgery

The Puppy Love hitmaker, 57, recently discovered he has a hemorrhagic polyp on his right vocal cord and the star has booked in for treatment with throat specialist Dr. Steven M. Zeitel, his representative tells People.com.

Zeitel has previously treated stars including Adele, Lionel Richie and most recently British singer Sam Smith, who underwent an operation in May (15).

Osmond has postponed his U.S. tour dates in September (15), but is expected to recover in time to resume his Las Vegas residency with his sister Marie at the Flamingo Hotel on 29 September (15).
