Suge Knight's Attorney Requests Prison Cell Move

The Death Row Records co-founder is locked up in a Los Angeles prison on charges of murder and attempted murder after he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run which killed his friend Terry Carter and injured actor Cle 'Bone' Sloan in January (15).

Knight's new lawyer Thomas Mesereau has filed legal documents asking for the rap mogul to be moved, claiming his current living situation is bad for his health and sanity.

According to TMZ.com, Mesereau claims the bed is not long enough for Knight's towering frame and the lavatory flushes on its own every 20 minutes so he cannot get a good night's sleep.

In the documents, the lawyer also requests a cell with full access to a medical facility, as he fears Knight, who is partially blind, could be battling a brain tumour.

Knight has pleaded not guilty to the charges and his bail is set at $10 million (£6.25 million).
