Sam Smith Returns To Boston To Hear Great Vocal Surgery News

The Stay with Me hitmaker was back in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday (14Jul15) for a check-up at the Massachusetts General Hospital Voice Center, where he underwent microsurgery in May - and it was all good news.

Taking to Instagram, Smith wrote, "So just want to keep everyone in the loop; I have been in Boston the last few days to have a check up on my throat, before I embark on my American tour. MY THROAT IS LOOKING BLOODY FANTASTIC.

"So it's amazing news. So happy. It's going to be a really tough month of shows but I can't wait to see you all, and pray it's going to be a smooth ride. LET'S GO."

Smith also treated his dad Frank to a tour of the U.S. city and enjoyed a meal at his new favourite Rockport restaurant My Place by the Sea, where a low-calorie shrimp dish he helped create during his last visit has been added to the menu by chef and co-owner Kathy Milbury.
