Ian Mckellen Turned Down $1.5 Million Offer To Marry Couple Dressed As Gandalf

The star officiated close friend Patrick Stewart's wedding to jazz singer Sunny Ozell in 2013, but admits it's not something he wants to do on a regular basis.

He says, "I married a gay couple in the U.K. and I was asked to dress up as Gandalf and go and perform a marriage by a very rich man who offered me one and a half million dollars to do that and I said, 'No'... I'm an actor, not a minister."
