Michael Douglas Preparing For Father's 100th Birthday

The Spartacus star is set to reach the milestone on 9 December, 2016 and his son is adamant the sprightly 98 year old is keeping well by taking on projects such as poetry writing and is more than likely to be celebrating his centenary.

The younger Douglas tells Britain's Event magazine, "He has a new book of poetry out, some that he wrote and some poems that he loves, and the title is Life Could Be Verse... He's (doing) wonderful... He's going to make it to his century, I'm sure of that. It will be fantastic."
