Jurassic World Roars Past $1 Billion At Global Box Office
Director Colin Trevorrow's blockbuster has become the first movie in history to achieve the feat in less than two weeks.
The film, starring Chris Pratt, passed $400 million (£267 million) in the U.S. on Sunday, becoming the first film to hit the mark in 10 days - four days earlier than The Avengers.
The film becomes the 22nd member of the billion-dollar club, and the third film of the year to cross the $1 billion mark after fellow sequels Furious 7 and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
