Charli Xcx Cancels Concert Due To Storm

The Boom Clap hitmaker was scheduled to play at the Tin Roof in Birmingham but had to scrap the plans when some of her gear was affected by a thunderstorm in the city.

She wrote on Twitter.com, "My tour manager just told me that the show in Alabama tonight has to be cancelled due to the storm which has broken some of the equipment... I'm so sorry to everyone who waited in the rain to see me. I am devastated not to be able to play. Please be safe and careful getting home."
