Dawn O'Porter Felt Like She Could 'take Over The World' After Giving Birth
Dawn O'Porter felt like she could ''take over the world'' after having a baby.
The 36-year-old presenter and husband Chris O'Dowd welcomed son Art into the world in January, and as well as keeping busy raising her little boy, Dawn is writing a novel, recently opened a pop-up shop in London's Covent Garden and is also running her online boutique BOB.
She said: ''After giving birth, I felt like I could take over the world.
''This is turning into a busy year - writing a book, being a mum and launching BOB - but being a mum has made me more focused.
''I launched BOB at seven months pregnant, which could be the craziest thing I've ever done but it doesn't feel that way.''
And Dawn doesn't see why having a child should make her slow down as she has plenty of time to do the things she wants to.
She told Closer magazine: ''I want to be the mum I've always dreamed of - one who can work and do all the things they want to do.
''It's easy to say I've got to calm down or do less, but actually, I feel like there are enough hours in the day to do it all. I just have to be stricter with the time I have, but I love being busy.''
